The design of kitchen and living space in a house before its construction.
The clients were interviewed in order to be able to understand their aspirations regarding the organization of the rooms, their functions and the flow through of the house. This enabled their requirements to be tracked and a critical path to be followed when making purchases of equipment and furniture. This detailed planning process kept costs to a minimum and to allowed the layout of partitions within the living spaces to be explored. The proposals regarding colour trends, furniture, and decoration were generated by using the information gained during the initial interview process with the clients.
